Telekom Malaysia’s (TM) Unifi TV has unveiled its FIFA World Cup 2026 viewing packages, offering football fans live access to all 104 matches of the tournament for less than RM1 per match.
Following last month’s announcement that it had secured the Malaysian broadcasting rights for the world’s biggest football tournament, Unifi TV will provide comprehensive coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be hosted across the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The tournament will be broadcast live across three dedicated channels, with coverage available to both Unifi TV subscribers and non-subscribers, allowing fans nationwide to follow every match wherever they are.
A full tournament season pass is priced at RM60, while existing Unifi TV customers will enjoy a special promotional rate of RM50. New customers can qualify for the discounted rate by subscribing to a Unifi TV Pack starting from RM12 per month.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 season pass also comes with access to more than 70 premium channels on the Unifi TV platform, including HBO, Cinemax, AXN, beIN SPORTS, SPOTV and tvN Movies, from June 11 to July 10, 2026.
For viewers seeking more flexibility, Unifi TV will also offer a daily pass priced at RM20 beginning June 12.
TM said dedicated packages will also be available for business and hospitality customers, enabling restaurants, cafes, hotels and other commercial establishments to host shared viewing experiences throughout the tournament.
In addition to live match broadcasts in high definition, subscribers will have access to match highlights, full-match replays and related tournament content. The service can be accessed across multiple devices, including smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and web browsers.
TM Chief Business and Consumer Officer Anand Vijayan said the acquisition of the broadcast rights reinforces Unifi TV’s position as a leading entertainment platform in Malaysia.
“We are excited for this opportunity to further strengthen Unifi TV’s position as the home of entertainment in Malaysia. This offering reflects our continued commitment to bringing large-scale live content to Malaysians while reinforcing Unifi TV as a leading digital platform for sports and entertainment,” he said.
“As one of the world’s most anticipated sporting events, the FIFA World Cup 2026 deserves a viewing experience that is accessible, seamless and immersive. With Unifi TV, fans across Malaysia can enjoy all 104 matches in HD, whether they are existing Unifi customers or new viewers joining us for the World Cup,” he added.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the largest edition of the tournament to date, featuring 48 national teams and a record 104 matches.
