The Miu Miu X New Balance 530 SL Just Got A Summer Update

Miu Miu’s collaboration with New Balance is back on the release calendar for summer, and it’s not a quiet restock so much as a full refresh.

The latest drop adds six new versions of the 530 SL trainer, continuing what WWD reports is one of the most influential ongoing fashion–sportswear partnerships, following a smaller surprise release in May that already hinted more was coming.

The focus stays firmly on the low-profile 530 SL silhouette, which has become the defining shape of the collaboration. This time, the update is all about materials and colour.

Four of the new styles combine lightweight technical fabric uppers with suede overlays, keeping things breathable but structured, and leaning into that clean, sport-led look the line has become known for.

Colour options in this group include Forest Green, Cerise, Cocoa Brown and Beige. The first three are already available, while Beige is still to come. Each pair sticks to the now-familiar multilace setup, pairing standard flat cotton laces with a rope-style second lace for a layered finish that’s become a signature detail of the collaboration.

Alongside those, there’s a return to the more worn-in aesthetic with two Deco’ leather styles in White and Sienna. These use a perforated leather upper inspired by classic tennis shoes, designed to improve breathability while reinforcing the pre-distressed, already-lived-in look.

Across all six versions, the razor-thin gum rubber sole remains unchanged. It’s a small detail, but it’s helped define the 530 SL’s place in the wider shift towards flatter, low-profile sneakers across fashion.

The full range is currently available through Miu Miu, priced at around US$1,270 per pair.
