Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Johoreans to stand firm behind a politics of hope, unity and compassion, saying Malaysia’s future depends on moving beyond divisive and outdated political practices.
He said the nation’s struggle was never solely about winning elections but about building a country founded on accountability, justice and care for the people.
Anwar said the government had delivered tangible progress through stronger governance, efforts to curb leakages, higher investment inflows and renewed international confidence in Malaysia.
However, he stressed that the reform journey remains unfinished, with more work needed to address systemic weaknesses, support vulnerable communities and ensure that more voices are heard.
“With the support of the rakyat, we will continue working harder to uplift the nation and ensure Malaysia emerges as a strong, fair and dignified country,” he said in a Facebook post.
