Vantris Energy Berhad, formerly known as Sapura Energy, is set to be uplifted from its classification as a Practice Note 17 (PN17) company effective 9.00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad said Vantris Energy will no longer be classified as a PN17 company following the fulfilment of the necessary requirements for removal from the status.
The upliftment marks a significant milestone for the energy services group, which was previously placed under the PN17 category due to financial and operational criteria stipulated under Bursa Malaysia’s listing requirements.
The company, formerly known as Sapura Energy Berhad, has been undertaking a restructuring and recovery programme aimed at strengthening its balance sheet, improving operational performance and positioning the group for sustainable growth.
The group announced that it had submitted its regularisation plan yesterday.
