LAC Med Berhad announced that it had secured a RM78.9 million contract for the supply and delivery of reagents with related items for pathology chemistry tests to ten public hospitals under the Ministry of Health in Kedah.
The contract was secured via a Letter of Award from a healthcare concessionaire company to the Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, LAC Medical Supplies Sdn. Bhd. The project encompasses the supply and delivery of products from a recently onboarded principal on an “Instrument Placement” basis, with the Group representing the global brand and marketing its reagents and consumables in Malaysia.
The agreement is valid for four years, from 15 June 2026 to 14 June 2030. To date, LAC Med has secured about RM105.7 million in wins from the same brand, bringing the Group’s order book to RM277.9 million, with earnings visibility over the next three to four years.
