EI Power Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, announced that it has accepted a Works Subcontract Agreement valued at RM90.1 million for a Data Centre in Johor, Malaysia.
The WSA was awarded by a main contractor principally involved in engineering, construction and investment holding. In accordance with the confidentiality terms of the WSA, the identity of the main contractor is not disclosed.
The scope covers the complete Fuel System Package for the Data Centre in Johor, encompassing supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning. Works commenced upon acceptance of the WSA, with completion scheduled in September 2027.
Following this award, EIP’s unbilled order book has increased to RM222.5 million. This contract adds meaningfully to EIP’s revenue pipeline and is expected to contribute positively to the Group’s earnings over the duration of the project.
