iCents Group Holdings Bhd has secured a RM6.95 million contract in Indonesia, reinforcing its push into Southeast Asia’s fast-expanding data centre (DC) ecosystem as demand for digital infrastructure accelerates across the region.
The group announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, VC Engineering Sdn Bhd, has won the contract from an Indonesia-based construction company to supply and deliver DC products, with the project valued at approximately RM6.95 million.
Managing Director Ir Ts Vincent Ong Mum Fei said the contract, effective from June 17, 2026, is expected to contribute positively to earnings from FY26 onwards through to project completion.
Commenting further, Ong said the contract strengthens iCents’ regional footprint in the DC space, particularly in Indonesia, which he described as one of the region’s most promising digital infrastructure markets.
He added that rising adoption of artificial intelligence, cloud computing and digitalisation continues to drive demand for specialised engineering solutions in mission-critical facilities.
The latest win builds on a series of recent strategic moves by iCents in the sector, including a collaboration with China’s Wuxi Yiding Zhizao Technology Co Ltd to develop and market prefabricated modular cooling systems for DC across the region. It also follows the launch of Maytech Cleanroom Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan, backed by an investment of about RM15 million to enhance manufacturing capacity for high-spec industries such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and DCs.
With regional digital infrastructure spending continuing to rise, Ong emphasised that the group remains optimistic on long-term growth prospects, supported by its expanding presence, engineering capabilities and strengthened manufacturing base across Southeast Asia.
