Rapid Rail has released the fare structure for the upcoming Shah Alam Line, detailing ticket prices for cash, cashless and concession passengers across all 26 stations on the route.
According to the published fare schedule, cashless payments offer lower fares than cash transactions, with concession holders enjoying the lowest rates across the network.
The line stretches from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia, connecting key residential, commercial and industrial hubs including Damansara Idaman, Subang, Glenmarie, Stadium Shah Alam, UiTM Shah Alam, Seksyen 7 Shah Alam, Klang Jaya and Bandar Bukit Tinggi.
For end-to-end travel between Bandar Utama and Johan Setia, fares are set at RM4.90 for cash payments, RM4.30 for cashless transactions and RM2.40 for concession users.
Rapid Rail said the fare structure is designed to encourage the use of cashless payments while ensuring affordable access to public transport for students, senior citizens and persons with disabilities under concession schemes.
The Shah Alam Line is expected to strengthen connectivity between Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang, offering commuters an alternative to road travel and helping ease congestion along one of the Klang Valley’s busiest corridors.
