Insights Analytics Berhad announced the retirement of its Independent Non-Executive Chairman, Datuk Haji Abdul Wahab Aziz, effective 23 June 2026.
Datuk Haji Abdul Wahab was appointed as Chairman of Insights Analytics on 24 October 2024 and has since provided strategic leadership and governance oversight to the company.
With more than five decades of experience in public administration and governance, Datuk Haji Abdul Wahab brings extensive experience from his long career in the public sector, particularly in Sarawak.
Throughout his career, he held several key positions within the Sarawak government, including serving as District Officer, Chairman of the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board, and as a Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Representative for 30 years.
He also currently serves as Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi MARA, a position he has held since 2023, while continuing to contribute to various charitable and cultural organisations.
Insights Analytics said his extensive background in governance and public service had strengthened the company’s Board oversight and corporate governance framework during his tenure.
Following his retirement, Datuk Haji Abdul Wahab holds a direct interest of 2,035,000 ordinary shares in Insights Analytics Berhad.
