Immigration Dept Shuts Passport Services At 71 Branches For Maintenance

Passport application and printing services at 71 Immigration Department branches nationwide will be temporarily suspended in phases to facilitate maintenance works.

The department said passport counter services, MyOnline Passport applications and passport printing at affected branches will be unavailable during the closure period.

The first phase of the suspension will run from June 26 to June 30, covering key offices including Putrajaya, Jalan Duta, Melaka, Kelana Jaya, KLIA and several Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs) nationwide.

Affected UTCs include Puduraya, Selangor, Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang, Seremban, Ipoh, Kedah, Sungai Petani and Seberang Prai.

The Immigration Department advised the public to plan passport-related transactions ahead of time and refer to its official channels for updates on affected branches and service restoration schedules.
