TNG Users Can Now Invest In ASB Through Their Phones

TNG Digital announced the launch of ASB Financing in collaboration with CIMB, marking its first Islamic financing offering.

The ewallet platform said the product aims to address barriers that have traditionally made long-term wealth building less
accessible for many Bumiputera. Through a more convenient and integrated financing experience within TNG eWallet, users can now participate in Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) investments through structured monthly commitments instead of relying on substantial upfront savings.

As the first Islamic financing product on TNG eWallet, ASB Financing builds on the platform’s existing integration with ASNB, which already enables users to view and manage their ASB investments directly within the app. The financing, provided through CIMB Islamic Bank, is channelled directly into ASB funds, enabling users to grow their investment through structured
monthly repayments, rather than a large upfront sum.

Desmond Teoh, Chief Financial Services Officer of TNG Digital said, “As our first Islamic financing offering on TNG eWallet, this launch also marks an important step in strengthening the breadth of financial solutions available within GOfinance. The strong adoption of ASN investments on our platform clearly reflects growing interest in accessible and digitally connected wealth-building solutions among Malaysians.”

Through this feature, users can grow their wealth through ASB’s annual dividend distributions while developing more disciplined, long-term saving habits. With financing amounts ranging from RM10,000 up to RM200,000 and flexible tenures between 5 and 40 years, users can choose a plan that best fits their financial goals and capacity.
