The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBMKLCI) ended slightly lower on Monday, slipping 1.83 points, or 0.11%, to 1,665.91, even as the broader market posted modest gains.
The FBM70 outperformed, rising 122.52 points, or 0.69%, to 17,848.71, while the FBM EMAS Index edged up 14.89 points, or 0.12%, to 12,379.91.
The FBM Shariah Index gained 11.22 points, or 0.09%, to 12,252.52, while the FBM 4Good Bursa Malaysia (F4GBM) Index added 0.85 points, or 0.08%, to 1,003.26.
Most active stocks were led by Zetrix AI Bhd, which slipped 1 sen to 76 sen after 1.36 billion shares changed hands.
This was followed by Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd, which tumbled 7.5 sen to 11 sen with 743.65 million shares traded.
Among other active stocks being traded are Dagang NeXchange Bhd, Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd, and RT Pastry Holdings Bhd.
Overall, the broader market remained resilient despite the benchmark’s slight decline, supported by gains in mid- and small-cap stocks.
