During the visit, Prévot is scheduled to meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof on July 2 to review Malaysia-Belgium relations and explore new avenues of collaboration, particularly in renewable energy, rare earth elements and halal cooperation.
The discussions will also cover Malaysia-European Union relations, as well as regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Prévot will also deliver a ministerial address at the 39th Asia-Pacific Roundtable organised by the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia and is expected to have an audience with the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.
