PLUS Malaysia has informed that upgrading works for the existing bridge parapets on the Simpang Pulai to Gopeng stretch at
KM288.1 and KM293.3 (Southbound) on the North-South Expressway (NSE), which will take place until 11 September 2026 will see traffic being affected.
Throughout the duration of these works, PLUS said the existing left lane from KM287.7 to KM288.2 and KM292.9 to KM293.3 (Southbound) at the affected areas will be temporarily closed, while the remaining two lanes will be open as usual to ensure the safety of the personnel working at the site.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and the safety of all road users, comprehensive traffic management will be implemented at the work zones throughout the specified period. Highway users are advised to adhere to all safety signage, designated speed limits and instructions from traffic personnel when passing through the area.
