Mesiniaga Bags RM40 Million Pharmaniaga Contract For Pharmacy Information System Project

Mesiniaga Berhad has secured a RM39.99 million contract from Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn. Bhd. to provide new centralised server infrastructure for the Pharmacy Information System (PhIS) Version 3.0.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the information technology solutions provider said it accepted the award on July 2, with the contract valued at RM39,989,675.64, inclusive of Sales and Service Tax (SST).

The project involves the deployment of a new centralised server infrastructure to support the upgraded Pharmacy Information System and is scheduled for completion by June 30, 2030.

Mesiniaga said the contract does not include an automatic renewal clause.

The company expects the award to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026, through to the completion of the project.

Mesiniaga noted that the main risks associated with the contract relate to meeting the service level commitments and project delivery timelines required by the customer, adding that appropriate mitigation measures are in place.

The company also said the award will not have any impact on its share capital or the shareholdings of substantial shareholders.

It added that none of its directors, substantial shareholders or persons connected to them have any direct or indirect interest in the contract.

The board said it is of the view that the award was secured in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interests of the company.
