Prime Minister and Pakatan Harapan Chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is intensifying the coalition’s campaign in the Johor state election with a tightly packed schedule of 15 programmes across Johor over two days, as the final stretch of campaigning gains momentum ahead of polling.
According to a schedule shared on his official channels, Anwar is set to begin with a youth outreach session under the Kita Geng MADANI x Anak Muda Bukit Batu programme in Kulai, followed by a series of engagements with community leaders at a hi-tea session in Johor Bahru.
His itinerary continues with the KIBAR grassroots youth programme in Tampoi, before shifting into evening events that include a cultural night gathering, a community dinner with Chinese representatives, and a dialogue session with Johor youth at Felda Ulu Tebrau.
The day-long campaign drive is scheduled to conclude late at night with a youth programme in Kempas, marking a sustained push targeting multiple voter segments including young voters and ethnic communities.
Anwar is also expected to continue the Johor tour with a further eight engagements the following day, as Pakatan Harapan steps up efforts to reinforce support for its candidates across all 56 state assembly seats.
In the current election, Pakatan Harapan is contesting all seats, fielding candidates from PKR, Amanah and DAP. A total of 172 candidates are in the race for the state polls, with voting set for 11 July and early voting scheduled for July 7.
The Johor campaign has entered its final phase, with parties focusing on direct voter outreach and ground engagements across key constituencies.
