Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) has offered to provide a live broadcast platform for a proposed political dialogue between Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi and Pakatan Harapan candidate Maszlee Malik, if both sides agree to take part in a direct exchange ahead of the Johor state election.
The proposal positions RTM as a neutral broadcaster ready to facilitate an interactive session focusing on policy and constituency issues in the Puteri Wangsa seat.
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil said the dialogue could be held at any mutually agreed time and venue, including in Johor Bahru, provided the caretaker Menteri Besar accepts the challenge. He stressed that the format is intended to allow both candidates to present their ideas directly to voters in an open and structured setting.
RTM has not fixed any date or format, stating that the arrangement remains dependent on agreement from both parties.
