Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera, an agency under the Ministry of Economy, has opened applications for its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position following the resignation of Ibrahim Sani, effective July 1.
The agency said the appointment process will be conducted in a transparent, orderly and merit-based manner in line with good governance principles.
Economy Minister and Yayasan Peneraju Board of Trustees chairman Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the new CEO will be responsible for driving the organisation’s strategic direction and strengthening its role in developing Bumiputera talent for high-value industries and future jobs.
He said the candidate should have strong leadership experience, particularly in technology, digital transformation, innovation, talent development, corporate strategy and emerging growth sectors, to ensure Bumiputera youths are equipped for high-skilled, better-paying jobs.
Applicants must be Bumiputera aged 35 and above with at least 10 years of work experience, including five years in senior leadership or C-suite roles, and hold at least a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional qualification.
Applications are open from July 6 to July 20 through Yayasan Peneraju’s official career channels, with shortlisted candidates to undergo a screening and assessment process by a designated committee.
