Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&N) and Nestlé (M) Bhd led Bursa Malaysia’s gainers on July 10, as advancers outnumbered decliners 648 to 443, reflecting sustained buying interest across the broader market.
F&N emerged as the top gainer, climbing 78 sen to RM29.70, followed by Nestlé, which added 50 sen to RM91.80. DKLS Industries Bhd rose 41 sen to RM1.83, UMS Integration Ltd gained 40 sen to RM8.16, while Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd advanced 38 sen to RM21.60.
On the losing side, Allianz Malaysia Bhd fell 28 sen to RM20.84, while Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd declined 26 sen to RM46. ViTrox Corporation Bhd shed 15 sen to RM7.39, United Plantations Bhd slipped 14 sen to RM34.26 and Apollo Food Holdings Bhd eased 13 sen to RM5.84.
Overall market sentiment remained constructive, with 581 counters unchanged, 1,044 untraded and 25 suspended.
Trading activity strengthened, with 2.85 billion shares worth RM2.25 billion changing hands compared to 2.64 billion shares valued at RM2.19 billion in the previous session, signalling firmer investor participation.
