The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has approved more than 5,000 applications to transfer BUDI Diesel subsidy eligibility quotas to immediate family members.
Treasury secretary-general Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican said the approvals allow quota entitlements under the BUDI Diesel programme to be transferred to next of kin, ensuring continued access to the subsidy where the original recipient is unable to utilise the allocation.
He did not provide further details on the approval period or the total value of the transferred quotas.
