Fibromat Berhad has informed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, MTS Fibromat (M) Sdn. Bhd., secured an estimated RM140 million subcontract from Hexatrend Sdn. Bhd. for the road construction works of Jalan Akses ke Limpaku Pinang in Limbang, Sarawak. The Letter of Award was accepted on 14 July 2026, and this project is expected to be completed by 11 June 2029.
Upon securing this project, the Group’s outstanding order book has increased to approximately RM495 million, providing healthy earnings visibility over the next three years.
The Jalan Akses ke Limpaku Pinang project is designed to improve accessibility and connectivity in the Limbang Division of Sarawak, supporting regional economic growth and enhancing transportation infrastructure. The scope of works includes the
construction of approximately 13.9 kilometres of new roadway, a service road, three bridges complete with solar-powered street lighting, drainage infrastructure, geotechnical engineering works, road furniture installation, utility relocation and
environmental protection works.
