SkyWorld Development Bhd has expanded its regional footprint with the groundbreaking of SkySOLIS in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the property developer’s first foray into Vietnam and a key step in its Southeast Asia growth strategy.
The residential project in Lai Thieu Ward represents SkyWorld’s first international milestone under its SkyWorld 2040 strategic roadmap, which aims to position the company among Southeast Asia’s top 30 property developers.
SkyWorld Chief Executive Officer Lee Chee Seng said SkySOLIS marks the beginning of the group’s transformation into a regional property developer, leveraging its development model built around quality, innovation and disciplined execution.
The project is designed to cater to rising demand for quality urban housing in Ho Chi Minh City, incorporating SkyWorld’s Healthy Home philosophy focused on natural ventilation, daylighting, green spaces and wellness-oriented amenities.
Lee said the Vietnam expansion reflects its strategy to extend its expertise in quality construction, sustainable community planning and smart living solutions beyond Malaysia while strengthening its presence across Southeast Asia.
