Parti Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has announced 24 candidates, including two from Parti Bersepakat Hak Rakyat Malaysia (URIMAI), for the Negeri Sembilan state election on Aug 1.
The URIMAI representatives will contest under the Bersatu banner, with R Mahendran fielded in Seremban Jaya and N Sarawanan in Mambau.
Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced the line-up at the party’s election machinery launch and candidate unveiling ceremony on July 17.
The party had earlier decided to contest the state election independently using its own symbol.
