Kuala Lumpur diners looking for a seafood-focused buffet can expect a new addition this August, as Latest Recipe at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur launches its limited-time Sea-to-Table Buffet Dinner.
Running every Friday and Saturday from July 31 to August 29, 2026, the buffet features a selection of fresh seafood alongside live cooking stations and international dishes.
The centrepiece is a seafood-on-ice display featuring black mussels, prawns, mud crabs, slipper lobsters, scallops, sea snails, bamboo clams and oysters. Guests can also choose from made-to-order Mediterranean-inspired seafood dishes prepared at live stations.
The menu includes Sabah Lobster a la Plancha with olive oil, garlic, parsley and lemon, as well as Gambas al Ajillo, Almejas Marinera, Mejillones al Vapor and Chipirones al a Plancha.
Beyond the Seafood Selection
The buffet extends beyond seafood, offering a range of international and Asian dishes. Diners can expect premium sashimi and sushi, tempura, teppanyaki, carving selections, wok dishes and Indian specialities.
Local favourites are also part of the spread, including Lobster Curry Mee, Chili Crab, Butter Prawns and River Prawns in Yellow Coconut Curry.
For dessert, the buffet introduces the Ocean Treasure Dessert Cup, which combines chocolate or strawberry soft serve with fruit caviar in flavours such as passion fruit, raspberry, pandan and grape. Other desserts include cakes, pastries, waffles, tropical fruits, kuih and chocolate fountain creations.
A New Weekend Dining Option at KL Sentral
Located at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur, Latest Recipe is known for its international buffet offerings and live cooking stations led by Executive Chef Antoine Rodriguez.
The Sea-to-Table Buffet Dinner is available at RM258 nett per adult and RM129 nett per child. Marriott Bonvoy members and selected bank cardholders can also enjoy special savings.
