LYC Healthcare Berhad (LYC) has warned that it may miss the regulatory deadline to issue its annual report for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 (FY2026), citing additional time required for its newly appointed external auditors to complete the audit process.
The healthcare group said it may be unable to release its FY2026 annual report, including the audited financial statements and auditors’ and directors’ reports, by July 31, 2026, as required under Rule 9.23(1) of Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market Listing Requirements.
The company attributed the delay primarily to the change in its external auditors earlier this year.
LYC appointed Messrs SBY Partners PLT as its new external auditors on March 6, 2026, following the resignation of Messrs Crowe Malaysia PLT on Feb. 26, 2026. Crowe resigned after the parties were unable to reach an agreement on the audit fee.
According to LYC, management requires additional time to work closely with SBY Partners PLT to complete the audit and finalise the financial statements.
Despite the delay, the company expects to issue and submit its FY2026 annual report on or before Aug. 7, 2026.
The suspension deadline falls on Aug. 7, 2026, with trading expected to be suspended from Aug. 10, 2026 should the company fail to meet the revised timeline.
