Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said his artificial intelligence (AI)-powered WhatsApp avatar, PMX AI, is currently undergoing upgrades following its public debut earlier this month.
He said improvements are being made to the platform after he personally tested the service.
“We are still working on it. I only just tried it,” he said.
The PMX AI avatar, which was launched to the public on July 18, was taken offline shortly after its rollout.
The AI-powered chatbot was introduced as Anwar’s digital twin, allowing members of the public to engage directly by sharing their views, concerns and aspirations through WhatsApp.
No timeline was given for when the upgraded version of PMX AI will be made available again.
