BYD Sime Motors has unveiled the 2026 Sealion 7 Dynamic, expanding the electric SUV line-up to three variants alongside upgraded Premium and Performance models.
The rear-wheel-drive Dynamic, priced at RM163,800, uses a 71.8kWh Blade Battery and produces 170kW and 380Nm. It offers a claimed 520km NEDC range, supports DC charging of up to 110kW and accelerates from zero to 100km/h in 7.3 seconds.
The upgraded Premium variant, meanwhile, receives a larger 91.39kWh battery, replacing the previous 82.56kWh unit. Its claimed range rises to 650km from 567km, while maximum DC charging capacity increases to 230kW from 150kW. The rear-wheel-drive model produces 230kW and 380Nm and completes the century sprint in 6.9 seconds.
Priced at RM203,800, the enhanced all-wheel-drive Performance also gains the 91.39kWh battery and 230kW charging. It produces 390kW and 690Nm, reaches 100kmh in 4.5 seconds and carries a claimed 600km range. It also receives red brake callipers and 20-inch wheels.
All three variants come with Blade Battery technology, advanced driver-assistance systems, nine airbags, a 15.6-inch central display, ventilated front seats and BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 architecture.
BYD Malaysia Managing Director Jacob Ma said the expanded range gives “customers greater flexibility to choose an electric vehicle that best suits their lifestyle”.
