Perdana Petroleum Berhad (PPB) has secured a charter contract for one of its offshore accommodation work barges from Keyfield Serenity Sdn Bhd, strengthening its orderbook and supporting earnings through 2027.
The offshore marine services provider said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB), received a Letter of Award from Keyfield Serenity on May 21, 2026 for the provision of one unit of an Accommodation Work Barge (AWB).
The contract is for an initial period of 241 days, with an option to extend for an additional 30 days, and was scheduled to commence on July 9, 2026.
Perdana Petroleum did not disclose the contract value, citing confidentiality and privacy clauses contained in the agreement.
Under the contract, PNSB will provide one accommodation work barge complete with crew and equipment to deliver 24-hour operational support for offshore activities, including accommodation, lifting operations and other offshore services.
The company said the charter is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec. 31, 2026 and 2027.
