AME Elite Consortium Berhad has entered into a strategic collaboration with Taiwan-listed technology group FIC Global Inc. (FICG), positioning the Johor-based industrial developer as a key partner in supporting the expansion of advanced manufacturing within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
The partnership forms part of FICG’s cross-border “JS-SEZ Twinning Strategy”, which aims to integrate manufacturing operations in Johor with Singapore’s strengths in innovation, international connectivity and supply chain management to better serve the fast-growing artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductor, high-performance computing (HPC) and data centre industries.
The initiative comes as global manufacturers continue restructuring supply chains to improve resilience, operational flexibility and responsiveness amid rising demand for advanced technology products.
According to AME Elite, FICG’s regional expansion strategy goes beyond a conventional manufacturing investment, reflecting its long-term vision of creating an integrated operating model across both sides of the Johor-Singapore border.
The collaboration complements a separate Letter of Intent (LOI) signed between FICG and Singapore’s JTC Corporation, the republic’s industrial master planner and infrastructure developer, together forming the foundation of FICG’s JS-SEZ Twinning Strategy.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), AME Elite will provide integrated industrial park development, customised industrial facilities and engineering solutions to support the expansion of PRO3C, FICG’s manufacturing operations in Johor.
The facilities will cater to increasing demand from industries such as AI, data centres, semiconductors and other advanced technology sectors.
AME Elite said the collaboration reinforces its position as a preferred industrial development partner for multinational companies investing in the JS-SEZ.
The group noted that its integrated i-Park industrial ecosystem and engineering capabilities have enabled it to attract foreign direct investment into Johor by offering high-specification, sustainable industrial facilities tailored to the needs of global technology companies.
AME Elite Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Dylan Tan Teck Eng said the company provides end-to-end industrial space solutions, specialising in master-planned industrial parks and build-to-suit facilities for high-value industries.
“For global technology leaders, we deliver complete operating environments, as demonstrated by PRO3C’s advanced manufacturing facility at i-Park@Senai Airport City. Through our collaboration with FIC Global, we remain committed to supporting their cross-border expansion while strengthening Johor and the JS-SEZ’s position as a premier regional hub for advanced manufacturing,” he said.
