Oil and gas company, Nuenergy Holdings Berhad has secured a contract valued at approximately RM44.5 million to undertake mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works for a data centre development in the Johor Bahru district, Johor.
The company announced that it accepted the Letter of Award on August 7, 2026, from a major construction and engineering firm headquartered in China.
Under the terms of the agreement, NHB will be responsible for delivering the MEP works for a proposed two-storey 265kV/11kV Consumer Landing Station Building, designed to supply power infrastructure to the data centre facility.
The project is targeted for completion by the fourth quarter of 2026 (Q4 2026).
