Eksplorasi Merdeka Rapid KL 4.0 (EMRKL4.0) will return on September 5, with Putra Heights Station serving as the starting point for the event held in conjunction with National Month celebrations.
According to Rapid KL, the fourth edition will take participants across Kuala Lumpur using its rail and bus network, with challenges, quizzes and interactive activities at selected locations along the route.
The programme will also highlight the capital’s landmarks, history, heritage and cultural diversity, with participants required to use their knowledge, creativity and teamwork skills to complete tasks and collect points.
Teams will compete for cash prizes totalling more than RM13,000, alongside other prizes through lucky draws. The registration fee is RM250 per team, excluding registration system administration charges.
Putra Heights Station was selected as the departure point as it connects the Kelana Jaya Line with the Ampang/Sri Petaling Line. The event also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Malaysia’s first LRT line.
Registration is open until Aug 23, with details available on the event registration page.
