Toyota Recalls Over 508,000 Vehicles In US Over Instrument Cluster Fault

Toyota is recalling 508,354 vehicles in the US over an instrument cluster issue that could prevent critical safety information from being displayed, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

According to Reuters, the recall includes certain 2025 and 2026 Camry Hybrid vehicles.

US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said a failure in the instrument cluster display during vehicle startup could deactivate several safety-related functions, including the hazard lights, turn signals, seat belt warning system and smart key reminder.

Toyota dealers will update the affected vehicles’ display software free of charge, the NHTSA said.
