West River Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiar, has received a Letter of Award from China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. for a subcontract valued at approximately RM22.56 million.
The subcontract involves electrical works for a consumer landing station forming part of a data center development located at the SILC Industrial Area in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Under the subcontract, WRE will undertake the design, supply, execution, completion, handover and maintenance of the CLS electrical works.
The CLS forms part of a broader phased development for Digital Hyperspace Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The overall development comprises a two-storey CLS building, a three-storey data center building, a dedicated three-storey mechanical and electrical (“M&E”) building and a four-storey office building, together with the related supporting facilities. The subcontract period commenced on 20 June 2026 and is scheduled for completion by 30 October 2026. The works are also subject to an 18-month defects liability period commencing from the date of the TakingOver Certificate.
