Yoong Onn Subsidiary Clinches RM41 Million Contract Foe New Tampines Facility

The 60%-owned subsidiary of Yoong Onn Corporation Berhad, T.C. Homeplus Pte Ltd (TCH), has accepted a S$13.16 million contract to appoint Precise Development Pte Ltd (PDPL) as the contractor for the construction of a four-storey single-user B2 industrial building in Tampines, Singapore.

TCH accepted the Letter of Acceptance (LOA), dated June 5, 2026, through its appointed quantity surveyor, OHA Global Pte Ltd. The contract, valued at S$13.155 million excluding Goods and Services Tax, is equivalent to approximately RM41.18 million.

The project involves the proposed erection of the industrial building at 18 Tampines Street 92, within the Tampines Planning Area.

Pending the execution of a formal contract, the terms contained in the LOA and the project proposal will constitute a binding contract between TCH and PDPL.

Under the agreement, the detailed breakdown of the contract sum is to be finalised within 28 days from the date of the LOA and will form the basis for payment claims.

The construction period is scheduled to run for 15 calendar months from the commencement date of October 5, 2027.

TCH, which is 60%-owned by YOCB, is principally involved in the distribution, trading and retailing of home linen and homeware.

The group said the project is aimed at strengthening its physical footprint and long-term positioning within Singapore’s commercial property landscape.

The development will allow TCH to re-establish a dedicated, fully integrated facility comprising modern corporate offices and upgraded warehouse facilities.

According to the company, the new facility is expected to optimise internal operational workflows, strengthen supply chain resilience and improve service efficiency for customers.
