JS Solar Holding Bhd has secured an RM18.05 million contract from GSPARX Sdn Bhd to undertake engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works for a solar photovoltaic system and battery energy storage system (BESS) at AEON Mall Seremban 2.
The group said its wholly owned subsidiary, JS Solar Sdn Bhd (JSSB), accepted the letter of acceptance from GSPARX on Aug 17, 2026.
Under the contract, JSSB will undertake the full EPCC scope for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 4,652.5 kWp building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) and rooftop solar system, together with a 3,856 kWh BESS at the shopping mall.
The contract will take effect from the date of the letter of acceptance, with the project scheduled for completion within six months from Aug 19, 2026 to Feb 19, 2027.
JS Solar said, barring unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings, earnings per share and net assets for the financial year ending March 31, 2027.
