Rhone Ma Holdings Bhd recorded a marginal 0.8% decline in profit after tax (PAT) to RM6.57 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), from RM6.62 million a year earlier, despite stronger revenue from its core animal health operations.
Revenue for the cumulative period rose 5% to RM109.97 million from RM104.77 million, supported by sustained demand across the group’s animal health business.
For the second quarter (2Q26), Rhone Ma posted revenue of RM56.39 million, up 2.6% from RM54.98 million a year earlier.
The Animal Health Products & Equipment segment remained the key growth driver, with revenue increasing 5.3% to RM48.34 million from RM45.93 million.
Quarterly PAT improved 1.4% to RM3.57 million from RM3.52 million in 2Q25.
Group Managing Director Dr Lim Ban Keong said the quarter reflected resilient core operations and steady demand for specialised veterinary solutions across the region.
The group plans to expand its market share in both livestock and companion animal segments through new product launches and wider distribution of its own-brand portfolio domestically and overseas.
Rhone Ma is also focused on improving capacity utilisation at its GMP-compliant manufacturing facilities, while its involvement in the Jemaluang Dairy Valley project supports its ambition to become a total solutions provider within the dairy ecosystem.
The group said its strong balance sheet and technical capabilities position it to pursue further opportunities across the regional animal health and food ingredients markets.
