YBS International Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Oriental Fastech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (OFM) has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire a factory property in Perai, Penang for RM23.5 million in cash.
YBS said OFM signed the agreement with Premium Starhill Sdn Bhd on Aug 17, 2026 for the acquisition of a parcel of industrial land together with a factory building erected on the property.
The vendor, Premium Starhill, was incorporated in Malaysia in 2011 and is principally involved in investment holding and general trading.
YBS said the proposed acquisition is driven by increased customer demand and forms part of the group’s efforts to scale up its operations in line with market requirements.
The company also sees strategic value in the property’s location within the Perai Industrial Area, given its proximity to YBS Group’s existing plant sites and supply chain network.
According to YBS, the location will improve accessibility, facilitate closer management oversight and support the expansion of its business and operational activities.
