Sarawak Plantation Declares 7.5 Sen Dividend As 1H26 PAT Rises 25.1% To RM62.7 Million

Sarawak Plantation Bhd declared a second interim dividend of 7.5 sen per share after profit after tax (PAT) for 1H26 rose 25.1% year-on-year to RM62.7 million from RM50.1 million.

Revenue for the six months ended June 30, however, slipped to RM252.5 million from RM266.5 million a year earlier.

For 2Q26, revenue increased to RM147.3 million from RM131 million, while PAT jumped 44.9% to RM39.4 million from RM27.2 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

The second interim single-tier dividend will amount to approximately RM21 million and is scheduled for payment on Sept 29, with an entitlement date of Sept 9.

Looking ahead, Sarawak Plantation remains cautiously positive on crude palm oil prices, supported by expected growth in biofuel demand following Indonesia’s B50 biodiesel mandate and Malaysia’s ongoing biodiesel initiatives.

The group said it will continue focusing on cost management, operational efficiency and productivity improvements, and expects promising results for FY26 barring unforeseen circumstances and subject to sustainable CPO prices.
