PN17 Listed TXCD Granted 6 Month Extension To Submit Regularisation Plan

Practice Note 17 (PN17) company TXCD Berhad has secured approval from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for a six-month extension to submit its revised regularisation plan.

In a exchange filing made on behalf of the board by principal adviser Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, the company confirmed that Bursa Securities granted the extension via a letter dated August 20, 2026.

Under the approved extension, TXCD now has until February 7, 2027, to submit its updated plan to regulators.

The extension request follows the group’s voluntary withdrawal of an earlier regularisation scheme initially submitted on April 1, 2026. The original plan was withdrawn after feedback from regulatory authorities indicated that the proposed restructuring—which involved transferring the company’s listing status to a new entity—would constitute a significant change in business direction under Securities Commission guidelines.

TXCD is currently formulating a revised regularisation framework to address regulatory requirements and restore its financial position. Further details regarding the revised submission will be announced once finalized.
