Adnex Group Bhd recorded profit after tax (PAT) of RM3.51 million on revenue of RM29.12 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), marking its first full financial quarter as a listed company.
The interior fit-out services provider said its core interior fit-out works segment generated RM24.45 million, or 83.96% of total quarterly revenue, while turnkey fit-out services contributed RM4.67 million.
For the six months ended June 30, Adnex posted cumulative revenue of RM56.36 million and PAT of RM4.09 million. The company did not provide year-on-year comparisons as no interim financial report was prepared for the corresponding period a year earlier.
Managing Director Kan Wai Chun said the group was encouraged by the continued improvement in its underlying performance, noting that the stronger reported earnings also reflected the absence of one-off listing expenses incurred in the preceding quarter.
Adnex raised RM18.1 million from its initial public offering, of which RM6.18 million had been utilised as at end-June, leaving RM11.92 million available to support expansion, performance bonds, working capital and debt repayment.
The group has also strengthened its project pipeline, securing a RM10.96 million interior design and fit-out contract for Hilti Asia IT Services Sdn Bhd at Sunway Square Corporate Tower 1 after the quarter.
Looking ahead, Adnex remains optimistic on demand for interior fit-out services, supported by commercial and industrial development as well as domestic and foreign investments into Malaysia.
The group is also widening its regional footprint following the incorporation of Adnex Singapore Pte Ltd in July, alongside plans to establish a presence in Penang, Johor and Sabah and pursue opportunities in the Philippines and Indonesia.
