On the other hand, Financial Services recorded the largest net foreign outflow at RM420.1 million, followed by Technology at RM161 million and Consumer Products & Services at RM101.6 million.

Local institutions extended their net buying streak to four consecutive weeks, registering net inflows of RM591.1 million.

Retail investors, meanwhile, reverted to net selling after a week of net buying, recording net outflows of RM42 million.

Trading activity increased across all investor groups, with average daily trading volume rising 13.3% among retailers, 13.2% among local institutions and 3.2% among foreign institutions.

The latest fund-flow data points to continued foreign selling pressure, although stronger participation from domestic institutional and retail investors provided some offset to the outflows.
