ITMAX 1H26 PAT Surges 34.1% On Digital Infrastructure Growth

ITMAX System Bhd saw profit after tax (PAT) jump 34.1% year-on-year to RM59.4 million for the first half ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), driven by strong expansion in its digital infrastructure solutions segment and the progressive monetisation of completed deployments.

Revenue for 1H26 rose 29% to RM140.9 million, with digital infrastructure solutions revenue surging 44.6% and contributing 79% of the group’s total revenue.

The strong half-year performance followed a record second quarter, where revenue climbed 28.3% to RM75 million and PAT increased 35.2% to RM31.9 million. Digital infrastructure solutions remained the key driver, recording 42.3% growth and accounting for 75.5% of quarterly revenue.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer William Tan Wei Lun said the stronger results reflected more investments and completed deployments entering the monetisation phase, strengthening recurring revenue and earnings visibility.

ITMAX is also expanding beyond its existing markets, with its Kota Kinabalu smart city project marking its entry into East Malaysia, while Social Security Organisation’s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Employment Portal broadens the use of its AI capabilities beyond smart city infrastructure.

The group said it will continue focusing on Malaysia’s digitalisation agenda, expanding its recurring revenue base and leveraging its technology capabilities to capture new growth opportunities.
