IJM Corporation Berhad has redesignated Datuk Lee Teck Yuen as its Non-Executive Chairman, following the retirement of its existing chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Boon Seng @ Krishnan.
The 69-year-old Lee, who was previously a Non-Executive Director, assumes the chairmanship following the conclusion of IJM’s 42nd Annual General Meeting on Aug 27, 2026.
Lee joined IJM’s board on May 30, 2007, and was redesignated as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director in November 2012 before becoming a Non-Executive Director again in June 2022.
He brings more than 40 years of experience in the local and international property industry.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
He has a direct interest in 11,764,692 IJM Corporation shares.
