WCT Saw Revenue Slip 33% In Q2 2026, PAT Down 20% To RM13 Million

For the current quarter under review (Q2 2026), WCT Holdings recorded revenue and profit after tax of RM370 million and RM13 million, respectively, compared to revenue of RM553 million and profit after tax of RM16 million in the corresponding quarter of preceding year.

Lower revenue was mainly attributable to lower contributions from the Property Development and Engineering & Construction segments, which declined by RM115 million and RM55 million, respectively.

Lower revenue from the Property Development segment was primarily attributable to lower property sales, including land sales of RM28 million recorded in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.

Revenue from the Engineering & Construction segment was lower as there were no further revenue contribution from projects that were completed in the preceding year.

Engineering and Construction segment continues to be the Group’s main contributor of revenue of RM192 million, accounting for 52% of the Group’s consolidated revenue. Property Development and Property Investment & Management and Food & Beverage segments contributed RM128 million and RM50 million respectively, representing approximately 35% and 13% of the Group’s consolidated revenue.

For current year-to-date, the Group recorded revenue and operating profit of RM816 million and RM54 million respectively, compared to revenue of RM1,025 million and operating profit of RM142 million in the previous corresponding period (“IH 2025”):
