Advancecon 1H26 Profit Jumps 34.5% To RM3.01 Million Despite Marginal Revenue Dip

Advancecon Holdings Bhd posted a 34.5% jump in net profit to RM3.01 million for the first half ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), from RM2.24 million a year earlier, despite revenue slipping 1.7% to RM206.33 million from RM209.82 million.

For the second quarter (2Q26), revenue edged up 0.3% to RM108.89 million from RM108.61 million, mainly driven by its construction and support services segment, which contributed RM52.9 million, and quarry operations at RM54.4 million.

Quarterly net profit, however, eased to RM1.21 million from RM1.27 million previously, largely due to heightened cost volatility arising from geopolitical developments in Iran.

Managing Director Phum Boon Eng said the group was encouraged by both its earnings performance and the quality of its growing project pipeline, which is expanding Advancecon’s exposure beyond traditional earthworks into industrial, utility and data centre-enabling infrastructure.

Advancecon currently has an order book of about RM939 million, with its focus now on converting the pipeline into sustainable earnings and cash flow while maintaining disciplined project execution and cost management.

Since March, the group has secured about RM317.7 million in new works, comprising the RM148.4 million IBTEC contract in Kulai, Johor, the RM47.6 million Tanjung Langsat Industrial Complex infrastructure contract and the RM121.7 million Off River Storage facility subcontract in Port Dickson.

Advancecon said it remains cautiously optimistic for the remainder of FY26, supported by its larger and more diversified construction pipeline, continued industrial and digital infrastructure investment, and progress in its strategic development initiatives.
