AGX 1H26 PAT Rises To RM9.17 Million On Freight Forwarding, Aerospace Logistics Growth

AGX Group Bhd’s profit after taxation (PAT) rose 9.2% year-on-year to RM9.17 million for the first half ended June 30, 2026 (1H26) from RM8.39 million, driven by continued strength in its core freight forwarding and aerospace logistics businesses.

Revenue for the six-month period jumped 41% to RM185.99 million from RM131.94 million, with sea freight forwarding contributing RM61.31 million, or 33% of revenue, followed by air freight forwarding at RM53.49 million and aerospace logistics at RM45.56 million.

The third-party logistics provider also delivered a strong second quarter, with revenue surging 46.7% to RM102.86 million from RM70.11 million, supported by higher contributions from air freight, sea freight and aerospace logistics. Quarterly PAT climbed 34.6% to RM5.4 million from RM4.01 million.

AGX’s regional operations continued to broaden its revenue base, led by the Philippines, which contributed RM64.89 million or 34.9% of 1H26 revenue. Malaysia accounted for RM48.29 million, followed by Myanmar at RM25.12 million and Vietnam at RM23.78 million.

Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Ponnudorai Periasamy said the first-half performance reflected sustained demand across its core logistics businesses, supported by a diversified services and geographical portfolio.

He added that AGX would continue strengthening its revenue streams and operational efficiency while expanding regionally in a measured manner amid evolving global supply-chain and trade conditions.

Moving forward, Ponnudorai said AGX will focus on diversifying its customer and market base, improving operational efficiency through technology and building strategic partnerships to support sustainable long-term growth.
