Cape EMS Ends FY26 Back In The Black With RM14.2 Million Net Profit

Cape EMS Bhd (CEB) closed its financial year ended June 30, 2026 (FY26), on a stronger footing by returning to the black with RM14.2 million in profit after tax on revenue of RM425.6 million, marking a turnaround from the RM38 million net loss recorded in the preceding 18-month financial transition period.

The electronics manufacturing and engineering solutions provider also ended the year with record quarterly revenue of RM136.9 million in 4Q26, up 27.2% from RM107.7 million in the preceding quarter.

The fourth-quarter performance marked Cape EMS’ fourth consecutive quarter of sequential revenue growth, supported by a better product mix and increasing diversification across its electronic manufacturing services and renewable energy operations.

The quarter was nevertheless affected by a RM9.9 million one-off impairment on other receivables and about RM5.4 million in project expenditure.

Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Christina Tee Kim Chin said FY26, the first full operational year of the group’s CEB 2.0 transformation, validated its strategic direction and restored profitability.

Cape EMS’ CEB 2.0 strategy spans engineering manufacturing solutions, renewable energy, intelligent manufacturing networks and wireless IoT, with the group targeting higher-value engineering and renewable energy opportunities.

Moving into FY27, Tee said the group remains optimistic that continued execution of CEB 2.0 will strengthen earnings quality and support sustainable growth.
