Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd shares rose 3.25% to RM3.18 as of 11.56 am, with the construction counter extending its gains following news of its record RM858 million data centre contract in Johor.
The stock opened at RM3.08 and climbed to an intraday high of RM3.18, while its lowest level was RM3.07. It was up RM0.10 from its previous close of RM3.08.
Trading volume stood at 820,600 shares, with 178 lots on the buy queue at RM3.17 against 480 lots offered at RM3.18.
The latest movement comes after RHB Research maintained its BUY call on Kerjaya Prospek but raised its target price to RM3.87 from RM3.41, implying 34% upside.
The research house said the RM858 million data centre contract, its largest single project to date, represents around 15% of Kerjaya Prospek’s RM5.9 billion outstanding order book.
The contract involves mechanical, electrical and plumbing fit-out works at a data centre in Iskandar Puteri and is expected to start in the third quarter of 2026, with completion targeted within eight months.
The award has brought Kerjaya Prospek’s FY26 contract wins to RM3.2 billion, already above RHB’s previous full-year target of RM2.8 billion. RHB has raised its FY26 job replenishment assumption to RM3.5 billion and sees another RM200 million to RM300 million in potential wins for the remainder of the year.
RHB also raised its earnings forecasts for FY26, FY27 and FY28 by 3%, 6% and 3% respectively, citing stronger contract replenishment and growing exposure to industrial projects including data centres.
