CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has secured an RM88.05 million contract to design and build a 275-kilovolt (kV) consumer landing station for a data centre in Selangor, adding to the group’s exposure to Malaysia’s expanding data centre infrastructure market.
The company said its wholly-owned subsidiary accepted the Letter of Acceptance on Sept 7, 2026 from an unnamed Malaysian company involved in providing infrastructure for hosting, data processing services and related activities.
CBH Engineering Holding said it was unable to disclose the identity of the client, referred to as “Company A”, due to a non-disclosure agreement.
The contract is valued at RM88.05 million, inclusive of taxes, insurance coverage and the Construction Industry Development Board levy.
Under the contract, CBH Engineering will undertake the detailed design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the 275kV consumer landing station serving the Selangor data centre.
The project commenced on Aug 13, 2026 and is scheduled for completion by May 12, 2027, giving it an approximately nine-month construction period.
