Many kids fear the doctor’s office; be it their annual vaccinations due to the needles, the fear of blood and pain, or the anxiety from waiting diagnosis, making appointments a hassle for parents. But what if you had a friendly neighbourhood guy to help you out?
At KPJ Healthcare, their pediatrics care has launched a new program: Little Heroes, Big Care. In collaboration with Spiderman: Brand New Day, your neighbourhood’s bravest hero deserves the best care. Parents can now track their child’s growth, sensory health and developmental milestones and keep their ‘Spidey-Sense’ razor-sharp with fear-free paediatric care nationwide.
If you want to know if your child’s ‘Spidey-Sense’ at peak potential, parents can track their developmental baseline. Speak with a specialised paediatrician if you notice any of these 10 sensory or physical development signs in your little hero: prolonged fever or recurring cough, asthma, allergies & breathing obstructions, eczema, skin flare-ups or food intolerances, poor weight gain or feeding difficulties, physical or motor skill development delays, newborn jaundice or infantile growth patterns, booster & routine immunisation tracking, visual instability, squints or eye strain, speech, linguistics or language delays, and sleep deprivation & behavioural changes.
From there, parents can make an appointment to meet a pediatric specialist from any KPJ hospital. Participating in hospitals may offer vaccinations, circumcision, child development assessment and treatment, paediatric consultations and any related paediatric services. And once you’re done, your little one will receive special Spidey merch like a commemorative Button Badge, a sticker sheet, activity book, branded tote bag, and GSC movie tickets. Perfect for your little web-slinger before returning for a brand new day.
The campaign is running until September 30th. Interested parents can find more information and booking here.
